With various positions and opportunities, from assisting with check-in worship activities to leading a group and more. Please look at the options below on how you feel called to serve.
We are looking for men who want to show our teenage boys what it means to be a biblical man, women who are willing to love our teenage girls, and grandparents for those in our group who are spiritually orphaned. Greeters, someone who's willing to be a little uncomfortable, knowing that a smile can change an entire day for a teenager. Will you join us as we lead our students to encounter Jesus and engage their world every Wednesday evening?
Do you have a passion for worship and creative arts? Our worship arts volunteers support our worship and media teams. They help people encounter Jesus by creating and excellent, distraction-free environment both in-person and online. They set the stage, both figuratively and literally, for people to hear the most significant message of all time...the Gospel!
Are you passionate about making people feel welcome? From the moment someone drives onto our parking lot to the time they leave, our welcome team are greeting people with a smiling face, showing them to their class, worship center and helping them take their next steps.
The first step in church life is getting connected. Our Connection Team helps people get connected with Acton Baptist. Whether that is finding a Sunday School, small group, worship service, or finding out how to use their gifts to serve, the Connection team is here to help. If you like meeting people and helping them find ways to plug in, this ministry is for you.
There are times when everyone needs someone who stands in the gap. Our Care Ministries are there for those who need help. Sometimes it's walking with someone in grief, other times it's helping in projects around town. If you like coming alongside those who are looking for relief, these ministries are a great starting point.
