Our kids are constantly learning. In this time where their foundations are being build, our Kids Ministry is designed to teach the Word of God.
On Sunday mornings, we invite children from 1st through 5th grades to attend Bible studies in our Children's Castle. Our children's worship starts at 9:00 am, followed by a meet and greet session, and then they are divided into age-graded classrooms until 12:00 pm.
On Wednesday nights, we offer children's discipleship through Awana Clubs for children from 3 years old to 5th grade. The school-age children from 1st to 5th grades start upstairs in our Children's Castle, where they memorize scripture, participate in Bible studies, and recreational time. They finish the night in the gym where they can be picked up by their parents.
Throughout the year, we offer family-oriented events that allow families to come together and enjoy time together. From our summer family fun to our annual trunk 'n' treat and community Easter egg hunt, ABKids brings families together.
We also have a Girls in Action program that meets once a month on Sunday nights. Girls engage in missions and mission studies from around the world, learn about different cultures, and serve their community and the world. Please contact the church office for the current schedule.
We take your kids' safety seriously at Acton Baptist. If it is your first time with us, we ask that you fill out our registration for your child, complete with emergency contacts and pick-up authorizations. Our workers are trained using MinistrySafe software and are thoroughly background checked, as well as being interviewed by our ministry leadership.
Our Kids Ministry is organized by age and developmental level so we can focus on providing a biblical worldview to help children make Christ-centered choices. Children are grouped according to their age as of September 1st of the current school year.
On top of safety for your elementary aged child, we also want to provide for you as parents. Every week, our Kids ministry sends home Truth Talks, giving you topics and questions to ask your child about what they learned and how they can respond to who God is. Acton Baptist is also pleased to provide HomePointe, tools that give support for surviving the ever changing landscape of raising your child.
