Music is a gift from God, and at Acton Baptist Church, we strive to take this gift and blend it with talents that are God-given, to produce praise that is directed back to our Father in Heaven.
Would you like to join us? Here are some opportunities to do just that.
Adult Choir
Choir is the backbone of our choral music. This volunteer choir sings every Sunday as they help to lead our worship services. They also prepare the music for our special seasonal services (Christmas, Easter, Patriotic, ext.). Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in the choir suite. Age 18 & Above.
Orchestra
The Orchestra is also used every Sunday to lead in our worship services. Rehearsals are Tuesdays at 6:30 pm
Audio/Video Team
We are always looking for people to help operate our audio and video systems for worship services and other events. If you have an interest in this ministry, you can contact Ricky Rivas (rrivas@actonbaptist.org) or contact the church office.
Handbells
Handbells are used to enhance our worship services from time to time. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the choir suite.
Modern Worship Band
Here at ABC, we desire to meet the needs of all people in all walks of life. As stated in the title, the music and the atmosphere are more, well… modern. We are always looking for people to participate and lead in this venue, so if you have a music or media background and would like to be involved in this, please contact Mickey Daniel at mdaniel@actonbaptist.org or Drew Tracy at dtracy@actonbaptist.org.
