ABC Preschool Ministry
The preschool ministry at Acton Baptist Church desires that preschoolers begin at the earliest ages to love the Lord with all their hearts, soul, mind, and strength. Because of this, preschool teachers are passionate about establishing a solid, Biblical foundation of truth on which the preschoolers can build their lives. Their prayer is that the preschoolers will know the love of Christ as they participate in classes. All preschool classes are staffed by teachers who have been screened and approved to teach.
Our Bible study curriculum, The Gospel Project, is developmentally based for preschoolers and children. Children are grouped according to their age and development. We believe learning is a dynamic process that begins at birth and continues through adulthood. Our desire is to provide a Biblical worldview to help children make Christ-centered life choices.
Sunday Morning Bible Studies
Preschoolers learn about God through storytelling, playing in learning centers, crafts, and dramatic play!
Class assignments are based on the age of your child on September 1st of the current school year calendar. Preschoolers under the age of two will enjoy being cared for by our loving staff in the Nursery.
9:00 – 10:30 Preschool Worship in the Gym
10:15 – 12:00 Preschool Sunday School
Check-In
If you are a first-time visitor, stop by the “Welcome Center.” Please fill out the “Guest Registration” form and a trained volunteer will help you find the right place for your whole family. Visits following, we will welcome you in the perspective preschool and children’s foyers and help you check-in at the computers.
Families Attending Worship Only
We would be honored to care for your preschooler while you attend service. If you choose for your preschooler to attend worship with you, look for Children’s Worship Bags at the back of the Worship Center. The Worship Bags provide simple children’s notes to give your child some quiet activities during sermon time.
Wednesday Nights(6:00 – 7:30)
Preschoolers 3’s (Cubbies) – Kindergarten (Sparks – Hang Gliders)
We offer children’s discipleship through Awana Clubs for children 3 years old – 5th grade. Preschoolers will be learning God’s Word through puppet shows, music, hands-on Bible activities, and play. Children will develop a love and respect for God, His Word, His Son, and missions.
