Pastors & Staff

Mark Roath

Senior Pastor

I grew up the son of a Southern Baptist Music Minister and my Father served Churches across West and Central Texas as I was growing up. I went to high school in Brownwood Texas, college at West Texas A&M and Seminary at Southwestern BTS in Ft. Worth. I worked in radio, marketing and advertising in DFW for several years before I was called to preach. I'm excited about being the pastor at Acton Baptist and look forward to what God is going to do here in His Church.

Mark Dolan

Pastor of Discipleship & Missions

I grew up in SW Pennsylvania. My dad was a coal miner and mother a school teacher. I played DII baseball, and eventually taught and coached at a H.S. in Germantown, Maryland. In 2002, God by His grace brought me to true saving faith at the age of 26. After several years serving the local church, I left teaching and attended (Southern Seminary, MDiv; Mid-America Baptist, DMin.). My desire is for every follower of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) and invest in eternity through the joy of making disciples (Col. 1:28). The Lord has richly blessed me with a partner in life and ministry, Mona Marie and three boys: Gannon(12), Lincoln(10), and Malachi(4).

Mickey Daniel

Minister of Music

I grew up on a farm in Stonewall, Oklahoma. I graduated from high school in Stonewall. After high school, I earned a bachelor's degree in Music Education from East Central University in Ada, Ok. And then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, working on a Master's of Music degree. But, my story has many twists and turns. During this period of my life, I also spent 6 months singing at the World's Fair in Knoxville, TN; was an entertainer on a cruise ship for about 8 months; and also sang with a few people, most notably, Tennessee Ernie Ford, for about 7 years. But the best thing that has happened to me, was to be called to Acton Baptist Church in 1985. I'm so thankful that I have a heavenly Father who saw an ugly lump of clay, and turned it into something that could give him Glory. And He continues to refine it daily!

Scott Eudaley

Children's Pastor

I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home attending the same church in Fort Worth until going off to college. I accepted Christ when I was 10 years old and surrendered into full time Christian service my senior year in high school. God has called me to serve and disciple children and their families. Leading these young families is a privilege and I take my calling very seriously. I believe God has given each person special talents and abilities to serve Him. I enjoy watching children grow in the Lord and becoming everything He has designed them to be. Encouraging parents to become the spiritual champion at home is my passion. I have faithfully served in Children’s Ministry since 1995 at North Richland Hills Baptist Church, First Baptist Church Pflugerville, and Travis Avenue Baptist Church. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas (1991) and a Masters Degree in Religious Education, Childhood Concentration, from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1998). I married my beautiful bride, Pam, in 1991. We were blessed with two daughters; Rebekah and Lauren.
