Do I have to dress up?
No. We want you to come as you are. There is no special dress code to attend. At Acton Baptist, you will see people dressed in all types of clothing.
Where do I go when I get here?
For first-time guests:
If you and your family are all attending Worship Service, simply enter in the Worship Center which is the tallest building to the North and West. If you have any questions, please visit our Welcome Center.
If you have elementary, preschool or nursery aged children, it is best to come to the Welcome Center which is in the main hallway. Greeters will be pleased to Point you in the right direction. From there, someone will escort you and your children to the check-in stations appropriate to the age of your children. We have a well-staffed nursery for the little ones, a preschool department that teaches Jesus and fun energetic lessons for the elementary aged children during both worship times. Of course, your children are welcome to stay with you no matter where you go. Our Worship Center is equipped with a cry room/nursing room for your comfort and convenience. No matter where they are...we love having children in our church!
If you are attending Sunday School, it is best to stop by the Welcome Center in our main hallway. There you will hear about the different class options and you can choose which one might be right for you. A member of our Connection Team will gladly escort you to your classroom.
What is the worship service like?
Our blended service (9:00 am) uses Orchestra and Choir to lead a more traditional, hymn-based worship. The modern service (10:45 am) uses a Praise Band to lead a contemporary Praise music-based worship. The sermon is always Christ-centered, Bible-based, challenging, and applicable to daily living for all ages and all walks of life. Both services are Livestreamed on Facebook Live, YouTube, and on our website.
Is there something for my children during worship?
During our worship services we have Extended Session for our preschool aged kids every Sunday, and we have Children's Church for kids who are in k-2nd grade three Sunday's a month. The grade school kids will start off by going to worship but will leave right after the offertory to have their own worship designed just for them.
Do I have to do anything?
Not at all. You are our guest and we want you to be able to come knowing we aren’t going to pressure or expect anything from you. You are in control of whether you desire to take any of the next steps. We would simply love to meet you, get to know you, and show you the love of Christ and all that He has done for us.

There sure are! We have past sermons available to watch or listen to anytime HERE or on the Acton Baptist Mobile app.

Connection Class
At Acton Baptist everyone - without exception - is welcome! We are focused on growing together in our knowledge, understanding and application of Jesus Christ because we have discovered that He is alive and brings life changing transformation to all who seek Him.
An important word for us is together. We laugh together, cry together, lift each other up when we are down and celebrate the joys of life together as we pursue the fulfillment of God's presence and leadership in our lives. If you have yet to visit one of our many Sunday School classes or Groups, we want to encourage you to do so.
