The King's Kids
We welcome the King’s Kids of all ages here at Acton Baptist Church. Our goal is for your child’s time here at ABC to be the best hours of their week. Our desire is to build a firm foundation on Biblical truths and love for Jesus Christ. We strive to provide a loving and safe environment where your child will want to return week after week. During our Fall and Spring semesters, ABC offers weekly ministries for children on Sundays and Wednesdays. During the summer, on Wednesday nights, we offer family-oriented events to provide a time of fellowship for families.
Our Bible study curriculum, The Gospel Project, is developmentally based for preschoolers and children. Children are grouped according to their age and development. We believe learning is a dynamic process that begins at birth and continues through adulthood. Our desire is to provide a Biblical worldview to help children make Christ-centered life choices.
Sunday Morning Bible Studies
Sunday Morning Bible Studies for 1st through 6th Grades meet upstairs in the Children’s Castle.
9:00 – 10:15 Children's Worship in the Castle
10:15 – 10:45 Meet and Greet in Castle
10:45 – 12:00 Children are in age-graded classrooms
Check-In
If you are a first-time visitor, stop by the “Welcome Center.” Please fill out the “Guest Registration” form and a trained volunteer will help you find the right place for your whole family. Visits following, we will welcome you in the perspective preschool and children’s foyers and help you check-in at the computers.
Families Attending Worship Only
We would be honored for your child to attend Children’s Worship and/or Sunday School. If your child chooses not to attend Children's Worship or Sunday School, look for Children’s Worship Bags at the back of the Worship Center. The Worship Bags provide simple children’s notes to help give your child some quiet activities during sermon time.
Wednesday Nights
We offer children’s discipleship through Awana Clubs for children 3 years old – 5th grade. Our school-age children 1st – 5th grades begin upstairs in the Children’s Castle. The scripture memory and Bible studies are age-graded to provide appropriate challenges for their age. 1st and 2nd grades are Sparks and 3rd – 5th grades are T & T’s. They are involved in quoting scripture, Bible Study and Rec Time. Children finish out the night in the gym where they can be picked up.
Awana Schedule for 1st-5th Grade
Small-Group in the Castle: 6:00 – 6:30 Children quote scripture
Large Group in Classrooms: 6:30 – 7:00 Children learn about scripture
Game Time in Gym: 7:00 – 7:30 Learn teamwork through games
Girls In Action (Sunday Night once a month)
Girls are engaged in missions and mission studies from around the world. They learn through cultural studies, mission projects, serving the community and around the world! Contact the church office for the current schedule.
